Our contemporary society fueled by a relentless economy of hegemonic beauty norms creates the utopia of a human ideal. The installation In Black and White – Decoration: None addresses this problematic in order to counteract standardizations regarding sex*. The installation presents a sex diversity that is otherwise obscured and hidden by everyday discourse. The diversity is summarized and delimited in the language with universal designations.
