About the collective CRAFT

CRAFT is an art collective whose work reflects on the practice of art as a profession and as labor, collective authorship, its social function, and the working conditions of art workers. Its focus also includes the relationship between art and play or leisure, the transformation of matter through processes of labor, and the constructed distinctions between art and craft, original and copy.

CRAFT consists of Oscar Cueto (MX/AT) and Manuela Picallo Gil (AT/ESP).

Since 2019, they have developed and presented projects in Austria, Germany, and Mexico.
